USAID/Fintrac/Partnering for Innovation Project: “Development of family farms united in agricultural service cooperatives”

Project goal:

To strengthen added value chain in Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhya, Mykolaiv, Kherson and also two additional oblasts – Cherkasy and Odesa by creating 70 family farms, and uniting 738 smallholders around family farms with installed mini cooling tanks, implementation of training programs and strengthening coops

Expected project outcomes

More than 808 smallholders will increase their income by at least 20% (expected increase for 70 family farms is 40%, 738 smallholders, than supply milk to family farms will increase income by 20%), access to new markets.
